iVue | Website
Lead Software Developer
- Defined company standards for web application development by mandating professional coding best practices, writing technical documentation, and creating training programs to help new developers build essential frontend skills at iVue.
- Developed a full-stack single-page application called Worlds iVue, a geospatial platform that is capable of connecting to and operating advanced drones and other devices. It utilizes Amazon Web Services such as Amazon Cognito for its user authentication services and Web APIs such as the Web Gamepad API to enable gamepad compatibility so users can operate their drone directly with a gaming controller.
- Led the development of iVue’s company websites, overseeing and personally contributing to its overall design, and improved website performance by lowering overall latency by 75% and improving search engine optimization with Google Analytics.
- Built Arduino systems for motor control and data communication and enabled reliable integration with drones and ground stations using the MAVLink Protocol.
- Mentored multiple interns in front-end development by offering guidance and hands-on assistance on modern web development frameworks, responsive UI/UX design, and coding best practices.
- Implemented company-wide email services with Amazon WorkMail, improving communication and productivity across sales, software development, and engineering teams.
